Shibari workshop - rope bondage for beginners - level 1

On the 20th of June (Saturday) a regular beginners shibari workshop will take place in Teddy's indistrial shibari studio in Budapest.

The goal of the workshop is to teach you the basics of tying safely and to get you used to working with rope by tying a few essential knots. These will be helpful for playing in the bedroom, and for many positions you will learn later. There is no prerequisite, this is from the very basics.

Theory: how to recognize impending nerve injuries and blood flow issues, and how to minimize their risks. Basic anatomy and safety precautions.

Practice:

• Tying a single limb (single column tie) with a “boola-boola” knot

• Tying two limbs together (double column tie) using a “boola-boola” knot
